Police in Damaturu, Yobe State, arrested four people for the death of an 18-year-old woman at a government boarding house in Damaturu.

As it became known to PREMIUM TIMES, the incident took place on Thursday.

The police have arrested the suspects who are now at police station B in Damaturu.

The body was taken to Damaturu State Specialized Hospital for an autopsy.

State Police Officer Dungus Abdulkarim confirmed the PREMIUM TIMES incident.

“Four suspects are in custody on murder charges,” he said.

According to him, “the charges in the case will become apparent after the autopsy.”

“Yes, we have four suspects in custody on suspicion of the murder (murder) of a girl who died at the government residence in Damaturu. The case is currently being investigated by the state criminal investigation agency, ”he added.

What happened

“Doctor Al-Bash Ibrahim Yahaya told the police that he slept with a girl and the girl died in her room.

“Dr. Al-Bash told the police that he was a guest of the Yobe State government who was staying at the government house and asked some boys to bring him a ‘woman’ and they brought him one, and he went to read with her and found in the morning that the girl was under the influence of drugs.

“Dr. Al Bash said the girl was shaking and doing funny things. Our preliminary information also showed that the girl is a drug addict, ”said Mr Dungus.

“Dr. Al-Bash called the guys who brought the girl to him and told them about the development, and instead they came and started tipping milk for the girl who died in the process,” he added.

He said the case was being investigated.

“What I can tell you now is that we are investigating the murder of Dr. L-Basha Yahai Ibrahim, the main suspect, and three other people. The one who gave him the girl, two of his friends who saw her in normal conditions, began to treat her with peak milk.

“We need to know if it was really the portion of milk she was given and what really killed her. The cause of death will need to be established based on the autopsy results, ”a police spokesman said.

PREMIUM TIMES picked up the deceased as soon as she graduated from high school in 2020.
