24-year-old man kidnapped from his father’s farm in Ibadan
On Tuesday, the Oyo State Police Department confirmed that a 24-year-old man, Ayodeji Emmanuel, was abducted on his father’s poultry in the Oke Odan community in the Ibadan district of Apeta.

Police Public Relations Officer Olugbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed this in a statement in Ibadan, said police, local hunters and vigilantes went to search the bushes around to find the kidnappers and secure the release of the abducted.

The statement reads: “After receiving information from a member of the public that some suspected unknown gunmen entered a poultry farm in the Oke Odan community in the Apte district of Ibadan and fired several shots into the air before being abducted. A 24-year-old “man” by Ayodeji Emmanuel, son of the owner of the farm.
“As soon as a police officer from Apte’s unit learned of the incident, he brought police patrols to the scene, along with several local hunters and vigilantes, to comb nearby and distant bushes to arrest the thugs and secure the release of the abducted.
“Notably, the concerted effort was reinforced by tactical police units, including the Anti-Kidnapping Command, who immediately launched an investigation and also hunted down the bandits while members of the public had to cooperate with them. police by providing useful information that can lead to the arrest of the criminal elements who commit these terrible crimes in the state.
