Edo State Police are looking for a woman who allegedly stabbed her husband and left with her baby.
The man, named Ephraim Iyama, is now seeking justice by accusing his one-year-old and several-month-old wife Jennifer of assaulting and stabbing him over the dispute.
A sad incident took place in Benin, in the state of Edo.
According to the victim, he asked her about her movements and why she returned home late, given that she is the mother of the child, and allegedly in response entered a fight and stabbed him with a knife.
“It happened a month before our first wedding anniversary. Her brother was there that night, and I told her to act like a mother, because he came home very late.
This woman, whom I once loved, stabbed me to death. I was rushed to the hospital, and when I survived and returned home, she left with my son, took my ATM card and withdrew all the money into my account. Until now, I have not seen my son. I share my story because I want the world to know that men are also subjected to domestic violence, ”he said.
