A young man dies in Jos, jumping from building to floor and hiding well to avoid being arrested by the EFCC.

It is confirmed that a young Nigerian, who has not yet been identified, is dead in Jos.

The man was confirmed to be dead after being pulled from a well in the Farin Gad area in Jos, Plateau state on Friday morning, February 5.

The victim was found to have jumped from a one-story building while trying to escape from the Economic and Financial Revenue Commission (EFCC) agents who broke into their home on the premises of ECWA employees to arrest them on charges of fraud and cybercrime.

While the agents detained his six roommates, the young man jumped from the first floor and hid in the well of the complex.

His body was removed from the well by the federal fire department of Jos on Friday morning after the report came to their office.

His legs were reportedly broken due to a high jump.

The police arrived at the scene to evacuate the body from the scene.
