AC / DC Confirmed The Return Of Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams, Phil Rudd
As you can’t hide an awl in a sack, you can’t hide a reunion from the musical community. After months of lull and total conspiracy, AC / DC have confirmed that Brian Johnson is expected to return, not alone, but alongside drummer Phil Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams.
The group shared new photos in which the entire company, led by the creator and mastermind of the collective, Angus Young and his nephew Stevie Young, who replaced the late Malcolm Young on guitar in 2015.
All week, the group teased fans on Twitter with a series of short videos showcasing the red AC / DC logo. There is no official information about what the group is announcing in this way. But the hashtag #PWRUP suggests that the old guys are planning to create a single or even a full-length album. In addition, a few weeks ago, pictures appeared on the network in which the group was captured on the set of a new video.
Due to hearing problems, Johnson left AC / DC in 2016 without completing the Rock or Bust Tour. For the remaining concerts, Axl Rose replaced him.
Rudd left before the tour even started, after being arrested in his native New Zealand, where he was accused of drug possession and “trying to lead to murder.” Some of the charges were eventually dropped and he was sentenced to eight months of house arrest.
Williams did not make any big statements, but after the end of the Rock or Bust tour, he announced that he was leaving the group.
AC / DC members have kept a low profile for the past four years, although in 2019 they were photographed outside a Vancouver recording studio.
Recent events give fans hope that soon they will hear new work from Australian heavy metal grandfathers, and maybe even see their live performances. Burn the pandemic with fire!
