Adegoke Timothy Oludare “disappears” after staying at Hilton hotels and resorts

Hilton Hotels and Resorts owner Mr. Rahman Adegoke Adedoyin and his collaborator, Ms Adedeji Tobiloba Adesola, were accused of being involved in the disappearance of a certain Mr. Adegoke Timothy Oludare.

Oludare had stayed at the hotel located in Ife, Osun state, several times between 22 October and 5 November 2021. The hotel is owned by the founder of Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Osun state.

A source told SaharaReporters that Oludare was a Master of Business Administration (MBA) student at Obafemi Awolowo University and was in Ife from 22-24 October; from 29 October to 31 October; and had also planned to stay from November 5 to November 7, 2021.

He was rumored to be coming to town to take scheduled MBA exams at intervals.

However, he is said to have been reported missing since checking in at the hotel on Friday 5 November before exams scheduled for Saturday 6 November and Sunday 7 November.

SaharaReporters learned that it was noted that Oludare was missing when his wife could not reach him on the phone.

In the meantime, he had previously contacted his wife to inform her that he was staying in a hotel.

Following a police investigation, the money Oludare paid for the accommodation was traced to Adesola, who works in the hotel.

The source, however, alleged that the owner of the hotel, who also owns Oduduwa University, and other workers initially denied that Oludare was in the hotel.

The source in a text made available to SaharaReporters said: “Adegoke Timothy Oludare is a student of the Obafemi Awolowo University studying the executive MBA program. He is also CFO of FJJ Company. Adegoke Timothy Oludare attended Ile-Ife from 22 to 24 October; from 29 October to 31 October; and from November 5 to November 7, 2021 to take the MBA exams at Obafemi Awolowo University and has stayed consecutively at Hilton Hotels and Resorts owned by Rahman Adedoyin.

“On Friday 5 November 2021, Adegoke Timothy Oludare contacted his wife (in Abuja) who had arrived in Ile-Ife and had been staying in an unknown hotel.

“The next morning, his wife was calling Adegoke Oludare’s phone line to extend the morning greeting, but the line kept ringing with no one answering the call. The line rang all day (Saturday 6, 2021).

“Adegoke’s wife contacted relatives and relatives immediately sent delegates to the OAU examination center to confirm if their son was in the examination room. The exam coordinator checked the attendance on Saturday and Sunday (November 6 and 7) and found that Adegoke Timothy Oludare had not come to take the exams.

“The management of the OAU and relatives went to the police station to report the matter and the investigations began. In the effort of the OAU management, the president of the hoteliers’ association was contacted to ask the hotels if Adegoke Oludare had stayed in one of the hotels, but no positive response was received.

“On Wednesday, November 10, 2021, Adegoke’s wife Timothy Oludare discovered the receipt of the hotel where her husband was staying on the penultimate weekend until November 5, 2021. The name of this Hotel was Hilton Hotels and Resorts.

“The investigative commission asked Hilton to ask if Adegoke Oludare stayed again on the penultimate weekend, which is November 5, 2021. They met the owner of this hotel (the boss Rahman Adegoke Adedoyin) but denied that Adegoke Timothy Oludare had stayed in their hotel.

“On Thursday 11 November 2021, the investigation revealed that Adegoke Timothy Oludare transferred the sum of N37,000 from his account to a woman named Adedeji Tobiloba Adesola and the details of the transfer showed that the transaction took place on Friday 5 November 2021. that Adegoke Oludare’s wife claimed that her husband reported that he had stayed in a hotel in Ile Ife “.

The source also stated that an Islamic cleric was also involved in the affair and that six people were arrested as suspects in connection with the case.

“After tracing the phone number on that account, it was discovered that the owner of that number was at the time at the Hilton Hotels and Resorts owned by Rahman Adedoyin. Police proceeded to the venue and Adedeji Tobiloba Adesola was fished out for being a staff member of the aforementioned hotel.

“Adedeji Tobiloba Adesola was arrested and confessed to having assigned room 35 of Hilton Hotels and Resorts to Adegoke Timothy Oludare on the same Friday. She was arrested and taken to the police headquarters, Osogbo.

“On November 12, 2021, his confession led to the arrest of 6 other suspects by the police. One of the suspects who is a self-proclaimed Alfa (Islamic cleric) claimed he left Ile-Ife for Ejigbo on Friday.

“Before Alfa’s confession, police monitoring had shown that Adegoke Timothy Oludare’s phone was moved from Ile-Ife to Ejigbo between November 5 and 6, 2021.

“On November 13, 2021, the owner of Hilton Hotels and Resorts mobilized three lawyers in Osogbo to alter the investigation process. The police also appear to be compromised in the investigation process.

“We ask well-meaning Nigerians to step in and help us. Rahman Adedoyin is also the owner of Oduduwa University and claims to be more powerful in the matter, ”the source added.

However, when SaharaReporters tried to contact Adedoyin, his SA (Special Assistant), Mohammed Oladapo, who answered the call, said: “This is not Adedoyin. You’re talking to his SA. Well, I can’t deny it happened because the country itself is fighting insecurity. But I don’t want to say anything so as not to jeopardize the ongoing investigation. You can call me back in the next two or three days ”.
