After beating his wife mercilessly, Angie Man crushes her to death in Abuja.

A fight between a man and a woman ended with him crushing his wife to death in Abuja.

A man named Makanjuola Ayedun from Isanlu community, Yagba local government district in Kogi state reportedly pinned his wife, Ms. Nika Ayedun, to death with a car after allegedly beating her to death.

The incident took place in Guagwalada, Abuja on Friday 14 May 2021 at about 22:00.

Sahara Reporter learned that Ayedun had run over his wife, Nike, an employee of the World Bank office in Asokoro, Abuja, while backing.

It became known that due to the speed, the car crossed a dirt road and crashed into a building, where something was destroyed.

As it became known, Ayedun wanted to escape when he realized that he had killed his wife, explaining the accident with the failure of the brakes.

However, a source told SaharaReporter that this was no coincidence.

According to a source close to the family, the man has always physically abused his wife.

“It all started when Nike discovered that the safe she had received to save money for her son, who was demanding a big birthday celebration, had been broken by her husband. Then he told him about it. It so happened that her husband began to beat her.

“After beating her to death at home, he took her phone so she could not call anyone. The man got out and started the engine of his car as he stepped out to open the gate. Nike ran to the gate and asked for his phone number. The husband said he was going to crush and kill her, and before she knew what was happening, the man threw her with all his might to the ground as he turned back, ”the source said.

It is reported that the deceased has two children.

She was also rumored to be the breadwinner for the family, and her husband did not work.

The case was reportedly interested in the case by the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) of Nigeria, a non-governmental organization.

Meanwhile, the case was transferred from the Gwagwalada Police Headquarters to the FCT Police Headquarters, Garki, Abuja.
