Alleged Marauders and Fugitives Captured and Parade in Edo |
Some looters and prisoners who fled to Edo State were arrested by the police.
According to the Edo State Police Department, 106 people were arrested last week for their part in looting public and private warehouses.
The looting comes after a crisis erupted in the state after gunmen took over the peaceful #EndSARS protest.
On October 19, police also escorted 10 fugitives from the infamous prison to the Sapele Road and Oko State Correctional Centers.
According to State Police Commissioner Johnson Kokumo, the detainees will be returned to the prison and the robbers will be brought to justice.
