APC denies publication of Congress and National Assembly schedule

All-Progressive Congress, APC said the alleged calendar of its Congresses and National Assembly in circulation was false.

According to the NAN report, APC’s national secretary and emergency planning committee for the congress, CECPC, John Akpanudodehi, said this in a statement on Monday in Abuja.

“Our attention has been drawn to the apparently coordinated and syndicated misinformation circulating in some sections of the media about the alleged plans and schedules of the PCA’s Congresses and National Assembly.

“This is the work of political workers acting as mass media.

“The media, party members and the general public in general should be careful and completely ignore the misinformation, antics and schemes of these fifth column supporters,” Akpanudodehe said.

He said that the APC had never lied about its activities and had no reason to lie.

Mr. Akpanudodehe said the consultative leadership style established by Governor Mai Mala Buni, led by the CECPC, institutionalized the PCA as a party of internal processes and democracy.

He said the committee was focusing on handing over authority to rebuild, rebuild and relocate the APC ahead of the 2023 survey.

Mr. Akpanudodehe said the committee also focused on achieving peace and ensuring true reconciliation within the party to give all members a sense of belonging.

APC’s National Executive Committee, NEC, at its meeting on December 8, 2020, granted the CECPC, led by Booney, until June 30, for congresses and a national assembly.

The CECPC, formed in June 2020 following the dissolution of the NWC National Working Committee led by Adams Osiomholle, initially had six months to reconcile the various factions in the party.

The committee also had to ensure that the injured party members in court removed all disputes, as well as hold a national convention for the emergence of a new NWC.
