Army finally gives access to hospital to Lagos investigation team (video)
The Lagos Commission of Inquiry finally gained access to the Ikoyi military hospital after being initially barred from entering.
Let us remind you that the deadlock arose after the coordinator’s unscheduled visit to the hospital to examine the bodies in the morgue.
However, the Lagos Inquiry Commission left the Ikoyi Military Hospital after an unsuccessful attempt to inspect its morgue. They were told that the hospital was being renovated. It turned out that they later returned and gained access. As a reminder, the jury is tasked with uncovering the incidents that occurred when the soldiers shot the demonstrators at the toll collection point in Lecchi.
But it is unclear if they were allowed to examine the bodies.
