Ahmed Abubakar, the son of former vice president Atiku Abubakar, married his lover Saadat Hamidu, Igbere TV reported.

The couple exchanged vows over the weekend.

In a tweet on Sunday, Atiku thanked his friends and associates for honoring the wedding.

“On behalf of my family, I express my deepest gratitude to friends and colleagues who honored Fatiha’s wedding to my son Ahmed Atik Abubakar and Saadat Hamid. Blessed be their union, and may Allah Almighty grant all of you the grace to travel in different directions, ”he wrote.

This is the second marriage in the Atiku family in three months.

In October 2020, news of the wedding of Aliya Atiku and Fatima Ribadu, daughter of former President of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Nuhu Ribadu, made headlines.
