Boko Haram attacks Gujba city, burn hospital, school and others.
Yesterday, a group of Boko Haram suspects rioted the Gubji local government area in Yobe state.

LEADERSHIP On Sunday, it was reported that the attack set fire to a primary school, hospital and cars. It is established that the attackers invaded the city and set fire to several government structures.
A resident who confirmed the incident to LEADERSHIP on condition of anonymity on Sunday said that “they (the rebels) invaded Gujba through the village of Borno, before damaging the city.”
Residents who retreated to their homes due to freezing weather in Harmattan were forced to flee into the bushes when gunmen stormed the city, shooting from time to time.
Another resident, who spoke to LEADERSHIP on Sunday from Gujba City on condition of anonymity, said the gunmen set fire to the hospital and primary school and waited until they burned down before leaving.
The competent source also claimed that he had taken Hilux and an ambulance belonging to a non-governmental organization (NGO) before setting fire to government facilities.
Another resident added that during the evening attack, gunmen stole a Hilux belonging to local security personnel and other valuables from residents’ homes.
One resident, who identified himself as Ali Buba, said the attackers headed for the city, leaving their motorcycles behind in a nearby town, which was abandoned after several attacks.
“The situation is dire, and the city is mourning the loss of security personnel, even though the militants have stolen food from the city.”
One resident called on the public to cooperate with the military and also called on the government to increase security as more villages come under attack.
LEADERSHIP On Sunday, it was revealed that no victims could be identified at the time of this report.
“At the time of filing this report, there are no official statements from either security personnel or civilians.”
