Boko Haram kidnaps UN staff Abubak Gaba Idrils “Alooma” in Borno

Boko Haram gunmen abduct United Nations (UN) personnel on the Damaturu-Maiduguri road in Born state.

Captive is Abubaka Gaba Idrils, aka Alooma, Senior Assistant for the Protection of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Terrorists ambushed cars with commuter passengers near the village of Matari between the Minok Jakana highway.

One of them, Aloomu, was kidnapped at about 8.30 am on Saturday.
