Buratai, army commanders meet over insecurity, shooting of Lekka
Chief of Staff of the Army Lieutenant General Tukur Buratay meets with senior military officials.
These include officers of the General Staff (GS), officers of the High Command (GOC) and the commander of the Guards brigade.
Army commanders, unit commanders and other senior officers were also present.
The interview is conducted at the army headquarters in Abuja, the country’s capital.
On the agenda are unsafe conditions in Nigeria, protests against SARS, violence and robbery in the United States, and shooting in Lagos.
The accident at the toll station in Lecchi on 20 October has caused outrage around the world.
The US and other countries have asked to investigate the actions of those who opened fire on unarmed demonstrators.
