Crowds invade Senator Teslim Folarin’s home, loot improvement materials
The mob has invaded the residence of Teslim Folarin, a senator who represents the central senatorial district of Oyo.
The most angry young man searched several new motorcycles in the Oluyole MP’s house. Other materials taken away include freezers, coffee grinders and other valuables.
PREMIUM TIMES reported that searches were carried out in the homes of various government officials in the past 48 hours.
Earlier today, thugs looted materials from the home of former House Deputy Speaker Lasun Yusuff in Osun state.
The Ivo local government secretariat was also set on fire.
Attempts by PREMIUM TIMES to contact Mr. Folarin were unsuccessful as a close associate who confirmed the incident to our correspondent said the senator was outside the country.
Several angry Nigerians raided the residence of Senator Teslim Folarin on Saturday and took away some valuables.
Folarin, according to DAILY POST, represents the central district of Oyo in the National Assembly.
His home, located in the Oluyole district of Ibadan, was robbed on Saturday.
Residents took away motorcycles, refrigerators and televisions, the source said.
Some images received by DAILY POST show angry Nigerians moving some real estate from the senator’s house.
However, all DAILY POST attempts to obtain Folarin have been unsuccessful.
