Don’t cry for my son, laugh, keep praying for us.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, chief overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has urged Nigerians not to mourn the disappearance of his son Deir.

Rather, he asked for prayer for his wife, Pastor Fola Adeboye, his widow, his children, grandchildren and the whole family.

The Nation reports that Der, the third son of the general overseer of the redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboya, died last Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom state, where he lived with his family.

The 42-year-old man was the assistant priest in charge of the region (youth) 35 years before his death.

The father of three daughters was buried on Tuesday.

Adeboye, in a 10-minute 55-second video shared on YouTube by his son Leke Adeboy, received from The Nation, thanked the Nigerians for the epic love show.

“I want to thank each of you for this great manifestation of love not only for the Distribution, but also for me, my wife, widow, children, brothers.

“I am extremely grateful, I am giving you this short message not only to thank you, but also to inform you that by the special grace of God we are loved by God, and because we are loved by God, we are more than conquerors …

The late Pastor Dair Adeboye

“I want you to know that God, who knows the end from the beginning, knew long before the foundation of the world that what happened was about to happen.

“And since His word is established forever, He said that everything works together for the good of those who love God. We may not understand now, but what happened will work forever for each individual, for the family and for the denomination. “

Adeboye described her late son Dair as a “champion”.

He said, “Cry if you want, but don’t cry for Pastor Dee (as Deir is affectionately called) because he is resting in glory. Cry because you are still fighting.

“Anyone who has seen heaven will not cry for Pastor Dee, because there is no comparison between heaven and earth. But then fight courageously, for on the morning of resurrection we will meet again.

“I want you to know that God, who knew the end from the beginning, knew long before the foundation of the world that what happened was going to happen.

“And since his word is established forever, he said that everything works together for the good of those who love God. We may not understand now, but what happened will work for our good.

“In one of his sermons, Dare himself said that God does not need a visa to visit you or to do whatever He wants in your life.

“And I told you before that death does not depend on age. The young die, the old die, the children die. And it’s not how long you live, but how well you live. Even Jesus Christ himself died at the age of 33. John the Baptist never lived to be 34, and yet he was the oldest of them all.

“We have lost the champion. Do you agree with me on this. We consider this the seed that we have sown and are preparing for a special harvest.

“I want us to join forces and create many champions like Damilar who would go around the world and shake the world for the Lord Jesus. This is how we can honor his memory. “

He added: “The Church of God is coming. It doesn’t matter what the devil is thinking now.

“The devil was jubilant the day the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, but he never knew what would happen. The devil rejoiced when Job lost all his children, but if only he knew what was about to happen, ”he added.
