Don’t mess with COVID-19 – MFM General Superintendent, Pastor D.K. Olukoya
Cleric opens the new foyer of the Palazzo del Senato at UNILAG
Chief Curator of the Ministries of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) Dr. Daniel Olukoya urged Nigerians to take COVID-19 seriously and abide by the security protocols set by the government.
The pastor spoke yesterday after yesterday’s opening of the renovated foyer of the university’s Senate building, which he sponsored.
Olukoya said many Nigerians still don’t believe the virus was real. But as a microbiologist, he was sure he existed, and he shouldn’t have joked.
He advised the government to organize an information campaign to convince Nigerians of the virus.
“First, to convince the population that it is real, because some people do not believe in its existence. But I am a man of God, and I prayed for many people with the same ailment, and I know that he exists. So don’t joke about it. People must obey all the rules. And most importantly, we must pray for this pandemic to go away, ”he said.
During the opening of the foyer, Olukoya prayed for members of the university community.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogündipe, thanked Olukoya for being a worthy university student.
Ogundipe said in the past that Olukoya donated a research lab to the university and forced him to request support for renovating the lobby last year.
“Today we have a father in the Lord, a university graduate who gives it. Last year I told him about it, and he advised me to consider it done, ”he said.
