EFCC arrested 10 Yahoo Boys in Lagos

Ten people suspected of online fraud have been arrested by operators of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal Office.

Suspects: Jonathan Daniel Adebayo, Laval Weidi Seun, Adeosun Joseph, Taiwo Gbemileke, Autumn Omotayo, Emmanuel Fakiyosi, Rashid Ogunlana, Oladunni Shogun, Sovunmi Rotimi and Prince Efetobor Wilfred.

They were arrested on Saturday 9 January 2021 during an early morning operation in the Alagbado area of ​​Lagos after credible information received by the Commission about their alleged criminal activities.

According to the commission, during the arrest, cars, cell phones, laptops, passports, a digital video recorder and a checkbook were seized from the suspects.

They also said that the suspects would be indicted in court as soon as the investigation was completed.
