Egypt deports 7 Nigerians to protest SARS
8 Nigerians were arrested in Egypt in early October for an unsanctioned protest. They were conducting the Egyptian phase of the #EndSARS protest. The Nigerian embassy in Cairo intervened to secure their release, but the Egyptian authorities have since discovered that 7 of them do not have a residence permit and are therefore in the process of deporting them.
