#EndSARS: APC Shares Open Letter to Pastor Sam Adeyemi
A Nigerian pastor who has campaigned against police brutality received an open letter from the All Progressive Congress (APC) ruling.
The letter was from an anonymous source given by APC to Pastor Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Christian Center. This came after the pastor asked why the Nigerian sued him for his participation in the recent #EndSARS protest.
Sam Adeyemi responded to the lawsuit filed by activist Kenechukwu Okeke with a tweet that said, “Who sent this guy to file this frivolous lawsuit?”
In response to a pastor’s question, APC shared the following open letter with him; With all due respect, sir, the useless question is completely in your hands right now, and I am disappointed when a citizen exercised his right to sue you and other people who he believes contributed to damaging his property as a pastor like you seen attacking the victim?
As someone we all respect, you should not get involved in EndSARS propaganda. At this stage, I expect you to play a role in ensuring the rule of the world and the government that meets the demands of the youth.
This kind of tweet is not responsible and does not match your projection. Being a pastor does not absolve you of responsibility in court — we must learn to approach things appropriately and appropriately. By now, we all know that it is easy to discover who is behind whom and what in this new age of media. Pastor Adeyemi, if it bothers you so much, you can find out in less than 24 hours.
But in my opinion, there are more pressing issues: we cannot allow people like you to lose focus too. PLEASE LORD DO NOT STEAM! Nigeria needs to be SAVED. Thanks sir.
