#EndSARS: Governor Makinda Bans Police from Hiring Protesters in Oyo State (video)

Following an ongoing #EndSARS protest in the country, Seyi Makinda, Governor of Oyo State, warned and banned police from recruiting protesters in the state, as he said it was their right to protest.

Nigerians protest the actions of the Anti-Robbery Task Force, SARS and police brutality.

Seyi Makinde a few days ago condemned the killing of a certain Jimo Isiak during the #EndSARS protest in the Ogbomoso area of the state.

Isiaka was shot dead by a Nigerian police officer as she tried to disperse demonstrators.

However, the Oyo State Police Command denied Ishiaki’s murder, claiming that his men only fired tear gas on the protesters.

It turned out that Isiaka was buried according to Islamic rites.

The governor identified two of the seven injured protesters as Abdulrasak Olawale and Oluvadamilar Gbolohunmi.

In a recent video, Makinda banned police from recruiting protesters.
