The European Union (EU) has responded to the brutal killing of protesters in the world’s most populous black nation, Nigeria.
The EU says it is shocked by the killings following the #EndSARS protests.
The EU said on Wednesday in a statement entitled “Statement by High Representative / Vice President Josep Borrell”.
He said he was looking forward to the reforms that would be carried out to ensure police reform.
The statement reads: “It is alarming to report that several people have been killed and injured during the ongoing protests against the Nigeria Anti-Robbery Task Force. It is imperative that those responsible for violations are held accountable and held accountable. In line with the government’s desire to carry out reforms, we expect their decisive implementation. “
