After the perpetrators unleashed violence in parts of Lagos state following the shooting at the Lecchi toll booth, police are counting his losses.

On Wednesday, police promised never to allow thugs to plunge the state into anarchy. This is stated in a statement signed by the command’s public relations agent, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, and circulated to journalists in Lagos.

“We will not allow the current situation to escalate into anarchy, which could cause general insecurity in the state,” said a police statement signed by its spokesman, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi. and robbing people’s property with impunity, ”he added.

PRO claimed that the bandits killed two police officers at the Orile police station and wounded many at various stations, set 10 police formations on fire, all in the name of protests. “They also searched the damaged stations and took some valuables,” he said.

He listed the affected stations, including: Idima, Igando, Layeni, Denton, Ilenbe Hausa, Aja, Amukoko, Ilas, Sele outpost near Izhesha. Others are Ajegunle, Ebute-Ero, Mushin (Olosan), Ojo and Ajegunle, where two patrol vans were set on fire.

He said that those he described as violent and mentally criminal demonstrators also attacked three new generation banks, took an unspecified amount of money and set some banks on fire.

In addition, he said the bandits also burned the secretariat of the local state council of Ajeromi Ifelodun, and some other private medical and business centers were attacked.

He listed Oba’s Lagos Palace, Shoprite Ajah; Nigeria Port Authority; the house of the governor’s mother in Akerel; VIO / Federal Highway Traffic Safety Offices in Ojodu, Lagos State; Magistrates’ Courts, Igbosere; TV channel; the office of the national newspaper and many other similar places plundered and set on fire by thugs.
