#EndSARS Protest: Asking For Police Reform Is A Joke, Criminals Don’t Fix Criminals – Charlie Boy

Famed Nigerian artist Charlie Boy has responded to calls for police reform in the county following the ongoing #EndSARS campaign.

The veteran singer ridiculed the demands for police reform, claiming that the “reformed members of Boko Haram” are the same people who made up the Nigerian army and police force. He also called the police reform a joke, noting that criminals do not correct criminals.

Charlie Boy wrote;

“I thank God if our Mumu don dey Belleful Us is finally there. Aren’t Boko Haram’s “reformed” assassins the people they set up for the Nigerian army and police? After disbanding sars wherever you go put dem. Asking for police reform is a joke without seeing where criminals are fixing criminals. Go to me, tell me that the government is not sending anyone?

My people make us defend ourselves. “
