Hundreds of protesters are blocking travel to and from the country’s busiest airport.
Since the protests began 11 days ago, protesters have ceased their activities at the airport for the first time.
They blocked roads around the airport, exacerbating the road blockade in and around Ikezh, but this was the first time protesters entered the airport.
Many passengers are stuck in one of the airport lounges.
In a post on the social media, one of the protesters said he decided to invade the international wing of the airport after security officials chased them out of the local wing.
Protesters are calling for an end to police brutality and improved living conditions.
