Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode praised former President Olusegun Obasanjo for telling President Muhammad Bukhari the truth at Friday’s meeting.
Recall that Bukhari met on Friday with former leaders of Nigeria, including General Yakubu Gowon, Obasanjo, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangid, leader Ernest Shonekan, General Abulsalami Abubakar and former President Goodluck Jonathan about tensions in the country.
After tweeting details on Saturday, Fani-Kayode accused Bukhari of telling former leaders that #End SARS protesters were showing aggression across the country:
I am glad that OBJ told Bukhari the bitter truth at their meeting, stating that the protests had escalated into violence. OBJ responded by telling him that the protests were peaceful until violent and sponsored criminals and thugs reached out to the protesters and attacked them.
