#EndSARS: you’re a dreamer, the 2023 presidency isn’t for sale, warns Bamgbose Tinubu
National leader of the All-Progressive Congress, Bol Tinuba, was asked to give up his ambitions and run for president in 2023.
The advice was given by Olusegun Bamgbose, head of Nigeria’s New People’s Party, who described Tinubu as a dreamer not fit to lead the country’s affairs, and added that the presidency was not for sale.
This was announced by a senior attorney on Monday. He said Tinubu would meet his waterloo if he dared to challenge, noting that the APC leader’s statement on the #ENDSARS crisis in Lagos made it clear that he was extremely insensitive to the plight of the Nigerians. “It is clear from Tinubu’s statements so far that he will not be a good president.” By electing him as president in 2023, Nigerians are taking a very big risk.
He is more concerned with becoming president than with the welfare of the poor. “His presidency could have been worse than that of Bukhari. To elect him as president of the country during this critical period would be a very dangerous experiment.
“We are made to understand that there are six qualities that a good leader must have. The word “LEADER” L means Love, this is the most outstanding quality of a good leader. ” The last word is “R”, the leader must be sensitive to the needs and feelings of his subjects. Does Tinubu have these qualities? Obviously, his presidential ambitions really blindfolded him. “In the midst of the EndSARS protests, he remained mute only to someone who came out and told the Nigerians that he was still Ashiwaj from Lagos as well as Jagaban.
“Who the hell is competing with him? Could this be the best way to comfort the families of the victims, both at the toll station in Lecchi and elsewhere? “It showed its true color, which has no feelings for the masses. His arrogance is outrageous and exceptional. Preparing for the Edo elections, he pocketed himself, the Democratic leader, thank God, failed the APC elections.
“I was confident that the next president of Nigeria would be determined not by popularity, but by passion for the masses.
“His statement made it clear that he was very indifferent to the plight of the Nigerians. He loves to be president the most. However, let me boldly tell him that he is not going anywhere. He is a dreamer: “He is not fit to lead the affairs of the nation. He should also be informed that the President’s building is not for sale.
If he has the guts to argue, he will meet his waterloo. “He expected that he would come out and take the side of the people, but unfortunately, he decided to pitch his tent with President Bukhari, who refused to immediately appeal to the Nigerians. “It is becoming very clear to the Nigerians that Tinubu’s presidency will create more difficulties for the Nigerians.
“Those who died at the toll station in Lekki are the Lagos who never bothered him, on the contrary, he became an analyst overnight. This is rather unfortunate. In 2023, Nigeria will need a loving and responsive leader, ”Bamgboz said.
