FG presents important news on the third continental bridge
The Nigerian government has canceled the order to close the third continental bridge.

Mr. Olukayode Popula, the federal building controller of Lagos state, reported this when he told the Nigeria news agency that the closure of the third continental bridge would be canceled at midnight, 24 hours ahead of schedule.
Popula told the Nigeria News Agency (NAN) in Lagos on Sunday that the full arrest must be lifted because the contractor was able to quickly complete the difficult task he had to complete.
He explained that the originally planned 72-hour period was reached within 48 hours, of which the resumption of traffic 24 hours earlier than planned.
“We have completed the installation of three room expansion joints on the third continental bridge.” Thus, the bridge will be open from 12:00 to midnight on Sunday 27 December, not Monday 28 December. ” And no more than 72 hours “
– said Popula. Recall that on Tuesday, December 22, the dispatcher announced the complete closure of the 72-hour bridge from midnight Saturday to midnight Tuesday.
The stop was intended to stop vibrations caused by vehicle movement for contractors who poured concrete over three additional expansion joints as part of ongoing bridge repairs.
