FG Sends Delegates To Ghana Due To Conflict Between Traders

The federal government sent delegates to Ghana to resolve the conflict between Nigerian traders and the Ghanaian authorities.

The delegation, which is tasked with dialogue with the Ghanaian authorities to find a lasting solution to the problem, is led by Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Otunba Adeniya Adebayo.

Speaking at a meeting held in Abuja on Monday, May 10, Adebayo said that the meeting with the Ghanaian authorities will take place between May 31 and June 1, 2021.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of State of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada; Dr Nasir Sani-Guarzo, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment; also included the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) Ms. Evande Sadiku; Hon Abike Dabiri, Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission; and President of the National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS) Dr. Ken Ukaoha, who are also members of the delegation
