Fire raises Nigeria’s Immigration Service headquarters in Abuja
Nigeria’s Immigration Headquarters in Abuja was razed to the ground in a fire in the early hours of Sunday.

The service, which announced this in an official Twitter post, said the fire affected some offices at the headquarters.
The fire, the cause of which is still being investigated, was extinguished by the fire service.
NIS reported: “There was a fire at our service headquarters this morning. This affected some of our offices.
“The fire was extinguished by our federal fire department and with the support of other agencies throughout the airport.
“The cause of the fire is being investigated. We assure the public that the incident will not affect the performance of our services in any way. ”
