Five suspects in traffic hijackers arrested in Lagos
A total of five alleged robbers were arrested by agents of the Ketu Department of the Lagos State Police Department.
SP Command spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the arrest in a statement on Tuesday, October 13, said the vehicle had been launched to pursue robbers chasing and robbing innocent Lagos in the domestic traffic.
Adejobi said the suspects – Olasunkanmi Oewole, Quadri Laval, Abraham Olateju, Tunde Bello and Olagoke Adevole – were arrested on October 9 and 12, 2020 after the robbery of two different men in Ketu, at the end of the Lagos / Ibadan highway.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner S.P. Hakim Odumosu instructed officers and commanders to prepare immediately and provide adequate security for all, despite ongoing protests across the state.
