Former NDLEA employees arrested with 254 kg of marijuana in Niger
A 46-year-old man, identified as Pam Ezekiel Adamu, a former employee of the National Drug Enforcement Agency, Niger’s command was arrested with 254 kg of marijuana.
An agency commander in Aloe Oludare state told the Nigeria news agency in Minna on Monday that the suspect was arrested on October 9 in the Mokwa local government area.
Mr Oludare said that Pam Adamu with staff number: SN 5454 served in the Gombe team until her dismissal in 2019.
“They loaded the car with substance at Ado Ekichi in the company of another suspect who escaped while they were on their way to Adamawa,” he said.
He explained that the suspect will be charged in court after the investigation is completed.
