Armed criminals strangled the life of a mobile police officer on Friday afternoon in Effurun, in the Uwvi metropolitan area, Delta state.

According to TheNation, the policeman also took the rifle after he was shot. The incident took place at about 14:30 on the famous Jakpa street.
Details of the incident were still inaccurate at the time of this writing. It became known that the deceased officer was in charge of an unknown man who stopped at a roadside store to buy some things.
The thugs are said to have approached the site in a car, shot it several times and fled with a pistol, removing it first. Over the past two months, at least five mobile police officers have been killed in the state and their weapons taken away.
When contacted, the police public relations officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoya, confirmed the incident but was unable to provide details of the deceased officer.
“It’s true. I have no information other than the truth that a mobile policeman was killed on Jakpa Road. But I don’t have the details, to which he is related, ”. said PPRO.
