Dr. Godwin Maduka demonstrated his support for goodwill and good politics for the people of Anambra State by attending the inauguration and handover of Archbishop Valerian Okeke’s Academy of Music, built by Jonbosko Onunkwo Chief Executive, APC Head of Anambra State, to empower the musical arts in the state.

The arrival of Dr. Godwin Maduk for the handover ceremony of Archbishop Valerian Okeke Academy of Music (AVOMA) at the Cathedral Basilica of the Holy Trinity, Onitsha on December 20, 2020, was truly overwhelming and drew tremendous approval from Ndi Anambra, who attended the colorful event.

Dr. Maduka then praised the efforts of Chief Jonbosko Onunkwo for his exceptional generosity and kindness in establishing the Anambra State Academy of Music for Ndi Anambra. The emergence of the African lion and Okosi of Orumba has been described as a democratic and sincere quality of a good leader, with an emphasis on his objective commitment to Ndi Anambra, regardless of party differences.

However, several prominent personalities were recorded at the handover ceremony, including celebrities, community leaders, social groups, women’s associations, and other notable personalities, including famous artists such as Patoranking, Flavor and AVOMA, among others. Speaking at the event, Chief Jonbosko Onunkwo said there was no greater joy than seeing a dream come true in record time. However, he expressed gratitude to Almighty God for the grace granted to him to become an instrument of blessing for the development of gifted children in the art of music.

Chief Johnbosco also said that AVOMA is a non-denominational evangelical institution where young people from all walks of life, regardless of religion, can study under the auspices of the archbishop. He then thanked Almighty God for providing funds for this project, despite how the year has passed, especially for isolation due to COVID. He says: “I believe in sowing pain because the cartoon effect is pleasing.”
