Governor Abdullahi Sule removes assistant from office on suspicion of counterfeiting and impersonating another person

Governor of Nasarawa State Abdullahi Sula has given his consent to the suspension of architect Stanley Booba, his senior special assistant for development control, following charges of impersonation and forgery.

Recall that the State House of Assembly recommended the removal of Mr. Buba after he was accused of usurping the authority of the General Manager of the Nasarawa Urban Development Board (NUDB) to issue receipts for land lease income.

Confirming the suspension of powers in a letter dated October 9, Deputy Minister of State Power, lawyer Aliya Ubandoma, ordered Mr. Bouba to transfer all state assets in his possession to government officials.

Earlier this month, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rapporteur The Honorable Ibrahim Balarabe Abdulahi inaugurated a special committee set up by the House to investigate Mr. Buba’s activities.

Balarabe made it clear that the house was not meant to be a witch hunt for any government officials, but to make sure everything was done correctly.

“Do you remember that the house formed a committee after SSA appeared on Dev. Contact the governor, architect Stanley Booba, whose members were not happy with his answers. said the spokesman.

“I really believe in the committee and want to make it clear that we do not intend to intimidate, harass or embarrass any government official, but to disinfect the system to ensure that the right actions are carried out in accordance with the law,” he added.
