Governor Abubakar Badaru confirms APC membership

Badaru has confirmed his status as a member of the ruling party in his Arewa 002 electoral bloc at Kofar Arewa Elementary School in Babur city.

The State Party’s Jigawa Section set on 8 February 2021 for membership renewals and new member registrations.

The party is targeting about 800,000 people to participate in the exercise, which will span a two-week period.

Addressing party supporters after confirming his membership, Governor Badaru then urged people from the state to come out in droves to re-validate and register with the party.

“Only after registration will you become a bona fide party member and receive the right to vote for the party leader or be elected.

“Based on the number of registered members in our state, we can provide more development projects for you.

“So even in local government areas, I want to see which local government will register the majority of members,” he said.
