Governor Obiano will supply 450 cc of oxygen to Anambra hospitals
Everything is ready for the distribution of 450 cubic meters of oxygen to selected hospitals in Anambra state.
Governor Willie Obiano announced this on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in a special broadcast on the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He said, “Finally, the investment we made in the oxygen production facility at the COOU Teaching Hospital in Amaku has begun to pay off. When we made this investment, we didn’t know about it before. or later oxygen would become such a priceless commodity. Today, I am delighted to announce a donation of 450 cubic meters of oxygen to select hospitals in the state to help fight the pandemic. The conditions for the distribution of goods will be developed and announced by the Ministry of Health. “
As a reminder, on August 8, 2019, Governor Obiano put into operation the state-owned Anambra oxygen plant. It is the largest medical oxygen plant ever built by any state government in Nigeria and was initiated and completed under His Excellency.
