Mr. Babajide Sanvo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, visited some of the places affected by the chaos in Lagos.

The governor on Friday visited local government secretariats, police stations and other structures attacked by offenders in the state.

During the presentation of this report, the Governor and his team visited Ajeromi Ifelodun local government, Ajeromi police headquarters, Laeni and Amukoko police stations.

Other places we visited were the Lagos Public Works Office in Ojodu and the Ojodu Bus Terminal.

PUNCH said the areas and facilities visited were attacked by criminals in the state on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Speaking during the visit, Lagos State Information Commissioner Gbenga Omotoso said attacks on public facilities have forced the state government to impose a state curfew.

He said: “I want us to understand that all this happened before curfew. This is why the government has imposed a curfew. The correct situation is that these attacks caused a curfew.

“This is not the Lagos we know and want to know. We must see ourselves as brothers. What we need to rebuild now is fantastic. This is a difficult time for us, but we will come out stronger. “

In Ajeromi, the governor was received by Fatai Adekunle Ayula and Fatai Ajidagba, respectively, the presidents of the local government of Ajeromi-Ifelodun and the development area of ​​the local council of Ifelodun.

“The governor examined 86 burnt cars, and also searched offices and secretariat buildings. He expressed concern about the actions of the vandals. He showed sympathy for the women and children who were considered the wives and relatives of the police officers in the barracks, ”said Facunle Ekundayo, chief spokesman for Ajeromi LG.
