Governor Uzodimma dismisses 20 commissioners and dissolves Imo state executive council
State Governor Imo Hope Uzodimma dismissed the State Executive Council.
The dissolution was announced shortly after the state’s Executive Council meeting on Wednesday, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.
He attributed the dissolution to Governor Uzodynma’s plans to adjust the state government after a year in office.
Emelumba added that out of 28 commissioners, only 8 remain, and these include: Commissioners for Health, Information, Tourism, Women, Labor, Finance, Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Technology.
