Governor Zulum will tell you that the security situation in Borno State is much better than in 2015 – Femi Adesina
Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Advertising, said the insecurity in Borno State has diminished since the arrival of the Bukhari-led administration.
Speaking on Channel Television’s Sunday Politics, Adesina said people cannot use certain events to underestimate the government in terms of protecting the public.
He also said that the governor of Borno state Babagana Zulum acknowledges that the security situation in the state he runs is much better than in 2015.
“You don’t take one, two, three events and then conclude that it’s all a failure; you will arrive in other parts of the North and they will tell you that things are much better.
“Governor (Babagana) Zulum, who is in the state of Borno, which is the epicenter of the uprising, will also tell you that the situation in this state is much better than in 2015.”
He also insisted that the administration under Bukhari’s leadership acted fairly fairly, beyond what was expected.
