Governors of the North finally named Spade, A Spade – Atedo Peterside
Stanbic IBTC Bank founder Atedo Peterside hailed northern governors for admitting open grazing is no longer sustainable, Igbere TV reported.

The governors came to this conclusion on Monday during an emergency meeting held virtually to discuss issues affecting the region and the country as a whole.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Mr Peterside said the governors’ recognition is “better late than never.”
“Congratulations to the governors of the North, who call bread bread; The 2014 National Conference (to which I was a delegate) came to the same conclusion that outdoor grazing is no longer sustainable in 21st century Nigeria. Better late than never, ”the businessman said.
The governors decided to draw the attention of herders to the need to introduce new grazing methods through rearing or other acceptable modern methods.
They also asked the federal government to support the states with grants to directly implement modern livestock projects.
