Graphic photographs of a truck driver and conductor lynched in Ebony for killing schoolchildren
Two men met their untimely death at the hands of an angry mob after crushing schoolchildren in Ebonya to death.
The driver and conductor of the water carrier were reportedly pursued and captured after their car crushed five children to death in Ebony before being lynched by an angry mob.
Ebony State Police Department spokesman, DSP Lovet Oda, who confirmed this Thursday, November 5, said the incident took place on Monday November 2 at the UN Nvoryega in Oshiri, Onichi Local Government District.
“On Monday, using a distress signal at the OIO, Onichi reported that there had been an accident that killed five schoolchildren, and angry young men attacked the driver and killed him. The driver, Eva Innocent, is from Amek Ikwo, and the manager, Ojim Danis, is from Agarazo, Iiemgu Izzi, ”Oda said in a statement.
It turned out that the water carrier appears to be owned by a company known as C-Sagas project Nigeria Limited. Children from Amaokpara village in Oshiri were reportedly driving home from St. Michaels School when a truck hit them on the road.
It was also revealed that the driver escaped shortly after the accident, but young people in the area were chased and caught up by a truck in Onich Igbez, a neighboring community.
Odah said the children, the bus driver, and the driver were all confirmed by the death of a doctor at the hospital. Their corpses were found and taken to Onich General Hospital.
Odah urged motorists to drive more carefully during hot months.
“KP is in mourning and happy with his family. I want to warn road users to drive carefully, because now is a month of embers. We have lost a lot this year, ”he said.
