Testimony from Ogi’s friend Joel Odeh, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday 12 January 2021, said it happened in Ogere, in the Remo area of ​​Ogun state, just off the Lagos-Ibadan highway.

It turned out that the gunmen opened fire on the car and then shot and killed Ogu and his wife, who was sitting with him in the front seat.

According to Mr. Odeh, after the killing of the couple, the gunmen told the passengers in the car that they only needed a couple.

The couple’s remains were placed in the morgue of Sagamu General Hospital.

Meanwhile, some suspects were allegedly arrested by the Ogere police department in connection with the killings.
