gunmen killed a man and his second pregnant wife on the Lagos-Ibadan highway.
Gunmen shot and killed a driver named Emmanuel Oga and his second pregnant wife on the Lagos-Ibadan highway.

Testimony from Ogi’s friend Joel Odeh, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday 12 January 2021, said it happened in Ogere, in the Remo area of Ogun state, just off the Lagos-Ibadan highway.
It turned out that the gunmen opened fire on the car and then shot and killed Ogu and his wife, who was sitting with him in the front seat.
According to Mr. Odeh, after the killing of the couple, the gunmen told the passengers in the car that they only needed a couple.
The couple’s remains were placed in the morgue of Sagamu General Hospital.
Meanwhile, some suspects were allegedly arrested by the Ogere police department in connection with the killings.

“My heart is broken.

This is one of the best Igede Driver experience we have ever had. Emmy.
He was shot and killed along with his wife by unknown gunmen in Auger, on the Lagos-Ibadan motorway. Very sad.
According to an eyewitness, the militants went straight and, without any request, shot him and his wife.
It was clear that there were many people traveling with them on the bus, but the gunmen told the passengers that they did not want to harm the passengers, but only Emmanuel, his wife and the gunmen left immediately.
As far as I know, Ogere Police Headquarters and Ogun State Police are investigating.
I cried again. This is one of my old friends. We called on January 4th when he was driving to Benue. It weakens me.
My heart is broken again. But why?”
