Gunshots empty the air as thugs search the home of Dogara’s former representative in Jos.
Criminals were reported to have attacked Yakubu Dogar’s home in Jos.
On Sunday, gunmen ransacked the home of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, located near the Jos University Teaching Hospital.
PUNCH reports that thugs violated the current state government curfew and invaded other buildings in search of palliative measures against COVID-19.
An eyewitness told our correspondent that the attack on Dogar’s house took place at about 9 am.
Police officers and other Chekists who are imposing curfews have unsuccessfully opened fire to disperse the angry youth.
“They broke into the former president’s house and attacked everyone, including Dogara’s brother, and (they) are currently moving everything they see. At the same time, the invaders took out various items from the house – tricycles, furniture, electronic devices and other valuables, ”an eyewitness told The PUNCH.
