High on hard drugs: INEC begins collecting signatures for the cancellation of Allie-Macaulay
The state legislator should be withdrawn as signatures have already been collected by INEC.
The National and Independent Electoral Commission initiated the recall process of a member of the House of Assembly of Lagos who used COVID-19 palliatives as a source of birthday information.
Pulse said field officers launched a door-to-door campaign to gather enough signatures to officially begin the withdrawal of Mojisola Alli-Macaulay from the Lagos House of Assembly.
The revocation register must be signed by more than 50% of registered voters in the Amuvo Odofin constituency.
Recall that recently the legislator also called Nigerian youth “strong drug addicts”, which struck them online and made angry young people demand their recall.
