How an evangelist killed his wife and son after eating Indian cannabis in Anambra
Chukwuemeka Obizofa, a 28-year-old man who is an evangelist, allegedly killed his wife and their four-year-old son, The PUNCH reported.

On Saturday, he was paraded at Awka police headquarters in Anambra state, along with suspects arrested for other crimes.
Obijofa said he killed his wife for infidelity after taking Indian cannabis.
He said his wife told him that their only child was not his, adding that he was angry when he came home one day and met his wife with two men.
She said, “I killed her and my son out of anger when I discovered that he was cheating on me for a long time. I didn’t believe it because of the level of love and trust that I had for her.
“I came home from work and found they were short of food. I went to collect money from the buyer in order to get something for him. But when I returned, I found that she was not alone at home. He was with two men I don’t know.
“When I tried to ask who they were, he asked me to be silent, which he will explain later. Then he took me to a room for some explanation. Before I left, the men left without notifying us. I was even more angry and my wife tried to calm me down, but I couldn’t bear it because of the level of love and trust that I have for her. “
The suspect, who claimed to have lived peacefully with his deceased wife for five years, said his cannabis use exacerbated his anger.
She added, “I told her that I was leaving home for her and her children. I went straight to where I brought the cannabis to calm down and feel relief. But all of a sudden, I found that the cannabis made my passing out even worse. I could no longer act like a person.
“It became obvious to me that I was possessed by a demon. Besides, there was no one to test me. I didn’t know what else had happened until I opened my eyes and learned that I had killed my wife. “
Obidzofa, who claimed to be an ordained evangelist, said his pastor warned him about the consequences of taking hard drugs.
He said: “In 2012, I was ordained an evangelist. If I pray it will happen. But as I began to fall out of God’s grace, my pastor warned me that the day was coming when I would face the consequences. He said that his God does not want me to pay the highest price. “
