A married man told the court how his wife became pregnant by another man while living in his house.
According to NAN, 65-year-old businessman seeking divorce, Mr. Akinola Ikudola appeared on Thursday before the Igando customary court in Lagos.
He claimed that his wife became pregnant by another man while living with him.
“When she told me about the pregnancy, I denied paternity because I didn’t sleep with her, but I let her stay to find out about paternity.
“When she had contractions, she refused to go to the hospital, she was given birth at home, but the baby died,” the applicant said.
Akinola added that his 21-year-old wife Funsho always stole his money.
He also said that Funshuo allowed two children born in wedlock to riot.
“Our first daughter, who just graduated from high school, always brings men home; every time I order my wife to warn her, she will fight me.
“Funshuo allowed her to spend three months with her boyfriend without my consent, at the moment the girl is pregnant,” he introduced.
According to him, Funshuo always threatens his life, saying that his life is in his hands.
The applicant pleaded with the court to dissolve their marriage, claiming that he no longer loved Funshuo.
In response, Funsho agreed to dissolve the union, accusing Akinola of extramarital affairs.
“He moves with different women.
The 56-year-old merchant said he once got Akinola drunk and raped him for starving her for sex.
“I gave him too much alcohol and raped him.
“This incident led to pregnancy, but he denied it.
“I gave birth to a baby at home and the baby died because my husband refused to give me money for prenatal care.
“It has been seven years since my husband last made love to me,” she introduced.
According to her, she steals her husband’s money because he is colorful.
“My husband doesn’t care about our children, and I, he always says that children will remember me only if they succeed in the future,” she added.
The interlocutor said that the children rebelled because their father was hostile to them.
The chairman of the Adeniy Koledoye court postponed the case until February 2 for sentencing.
