How the police tortured my cellmate to death on false charges – a man tells a shocking story
Abbah Onoja, a man from Nigeria, told his story of police brutality and brutality.

According to Punch, Onoja told the group that the arrest took place at Samuel’s home, and that the police accused them of belonging to a cult called the Brotherhood of the Supreme Vikings.
He said Obinna was later arrested on the same day, also on suspicion of sectarianism.
The witness noted that they were all held at the police station to prevent a one-time attack in Jabi, Abuja.
The unit, led by DSP Jumbo Jumbo, later moved to the slaughterhouse, a police station occupied by the Special Anti-Theft Squad (SARS) and other tactical police units, he said.
He said that after being tortured by the police, Samuel confessed to belonging to the cult and hinted that the deceased, Obinna, was a member.
He said that Obinna, who was later invited to join them, admitted to being a member of the organization even after being tortured.
Onoja added: “They asked him for a firearm, but he denied having one.
“After a lot of torture, he reached the point where he could no longer speak, and foam started to fill his mouth.”
He said that a total of 14 of them, arrested on suspicion of sectarianism, were subsequently transferred to the Abuja police headquarters.
He recalled that Obinna was unable to speak, despite the fact that the officer repeatedly beat him with a stick.
The witness also testified that they were all transferred from there to the detention center at the SARS slaughterhouse for further investigation.
He said: “When we arrived, Corporal Abubakar asked Jumbo Jumbo in Pidgin English what to do with Obinna.
“He was kept in a cell, but the next morning he died. The inmates were asked to take out his body. It was January 28, 2020 ”.
The witness said that in addition to Jumbo, others were involved, including Sergeant Gumbo and Sergeant Biggie.
The jury, led by Judge Suleiman Galadima, updated the case until February 9, 2021 so that the police protection team could question the petitioner and two witnesses.
