“I killed my girlfriend and bought beer with the money” – Osun Ritual Killer
A 30-year-old ritual murder suspect, Tajudin Monsuru, said he used the proceeds from human parts to drink beer and hang out with friends.

Monsuru and three other suspects, Garuba Lukman (31), Hamsat Akim (25) and Yusuf Avayevasere (37), were paraded on Tuesday in connection with a murder and conspiracy led by Osun State Police, Osogbo.
The Nation reports that Monsuru was arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend through a rite in Ivo on December 8 last year.
During the parade, Monsuru said: “I killed people and sold their parts to those who needed them. I killed my girlfriend Mutiat Alani and other people. I choked people and dismembered their bodies for those who needed them. I spent the proceeds on beer and went out with friends. “
Police Commissioner Vale Olokode said: “On November 11 last year, the missing person was reported to two departments and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID). “The investigation immediately got down to business. During the intelligence investigation, investigators arrested four suspects who confessed to the abduction and murder of the victims: Akanbi Adeolu, Alani Mutiyat, Akinla Ibrahim and many others. One of the suspects, Aveyvasere Yusuf, admitted that he bought the human parts and sold them to some of the suspects who are still fugitives. “
He said the decomposing parts were exhumed and recovered as artifacts, adding that efforts are underway to arrest other suspects.
23-year-old pregnant housewife Mariam Musa was paraded for poisoning her stepson.
Mariam, the first wife, said: “I poisoned my stepson because my husband showed love for my partner (second wife) because he had a son. My husband does not pay attention to me because I cannot give birth to a son. I am four months pregnant. Jealousy made me kill a three year old child. “
