Governor Okezie Ikpeazu called on Abia State University Uturu to look for ways to adapt their curriculum to meet today’s challenges the Society faces.

Governor Ikpeazu made the call as he spoke at the 27th and 28th combined convocation ceremony of Abia State University, held at the institution’s convocation pavilion on the main campus, Uturu.

He said it was necessary to seek current knowledge in areas such as agriculture to address the current food shortage prevalent in the country today, said Onyebuchi Ememanka, the governor’s chief press officer in a statement obtained by ABN TV.

To that end, the Governor challenged the institute’s Faculty of Agriculture to undertake further research on ways to groom local goats as an alternative to cow meat.
